What does leadership mean to you?
Do you see yourself as a leader?
One thing that I found in my years of volunteering in community organizations, serving on nonprofit boards and in various work environments – is that many of us – especially women – don’t see ourselves as leaders.
Maybe it was the way we were raised to be helpers, to work behind the scenes and to stay away from the spotlight. Maybe we have this idea that a leader is someone who stands behind a podium and gives speeches. Or we equate leading with being bossy.
But I’m here to tell you that it’s very, very likely that others are looking to YOU for leadership. Whether that’s at work, in the business community, in your family, church or elsewhere. And that your version of leadership doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s.
And don’t just take it from me, today’s guest works specifically with women to help them define their unique impact and cultivate the skills necessary to level up – wherever they choose to lead.
