Have you ever said – or thought – any of these things?

Everyday I still have SO much left on my to-do list. I’m just not getting enough done! I need to be more productive. Why can’t I do all of this?

And then… you go and google “How to be more productive” or you rewrite your to-do list, or you just walk away from it with overwhelm and put on Netflix.

What even is productivity?

I bet that if I asked five of you to tell me what it means, you’d each give me a slightly different answer.

The thing is – over the years, the meaning of productivity has evolved – starting with agricultural productivity to industrial productivity and now we tend to think of productivity on a personal level – that it’s about getting things done – as many things as possible, ALL THE THINGS – smarter, better, faster, stronger.

And then of course, when we can’t do all the things, we feel like there’s something wrong with us and that we’re just not productive enough. Repeat, repeat.

Episode 69 is all about productivity on a personal level. We are NOT machines – and there’s way more to being productive than just crossing things off of a to-do list.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good to-do list, as long as it’s short and filled with the most important things… and once you hear today’s guest, Katie Wussow, share her philosophy of productivity and how she helps creative business owners achieve their goals without the overwhelm – you might rethink your to-do list, and your idea of productivity too.
